1. 學青開始綫上查經 - 禱告興起開普敦的提摩太
羅馬書1：16~1「我不以福音為恥；這福音本是神的大能，要救一切相信的，先是猶太人，後是希利尼人。因為神的義正在這福音上顯明出來；這義是本於信，以致於信。如經上所記：義人必因信得生。」…加拉太書3：6~7「正如亞伯拉罕信神，這就算為他的義。所以，你們要知道：那以信為本的人，就是亞伯拉罕的子孫。」…開普敦地區有3所大學、UCT、Stellenbosh兩所大學大約有300位華人學生、UWC較少，兒子Clarence在那讀書，他說約只有20位？我們從2024年來到此地後，教會目前只有我兒子一位大學生、兩位高中生，我們夫婦切切禱告，就在去年短宣隊到來福音營會，我們招了10位孩子，神給我們這異象，經過這大半年時間，邀請問了7位學生，答應從8月底開始綫上查經[創世記-因信稱義]、感謝神有5位參加，而且已持續了兩週了；…而這次查經的挑戰是全程用英文來查！元國在備課上還算Okay，因為可以用翻譯軟體，可是在上課解說的時候，那可就真是滿頭大汗了，自己都覺得是在[雞同鴨講]？！大孩子們都很忍耐我，也都回應說他們聽得懂！但我自己心裡總覺得[麻麻地]，主日下午心情都很緊張、壓力山大！到查經結束還驚魂未定！也跟神認罪禱告、是不是信心不夠？！但求是按正意(對的英文)分解神的道！願他們能得著[因信稱義]謎賽亞恩典
加拉太書3：16「所應許的原是向亞伯拉罕和他子孫說的。神並不是說眾子孫，指著許多人，乃是說你那一個子孫，指著一個人，就是基督。」
2.教會事奉同工預備 - 20課教會事奉品格課程上滿了
腓立比書1：4~6「每逢為你們眾人祈求的時候，常是歡歡喜喜的祈求。因為從頭一天直到如今，你們是同心合意的興旺福音。我深信那在你們心裡動了善工的，必成全這工，直到耶穌基督的日子。」元國向神禱告，盼望神能在開普敦華人教會興起同工，並能按著主的心意來服事，在20週前要開這教會事奉品格課程時，有10位弟兄姐妹上課，按以往經驗，幾次開課上到最後，都只剩下3、4位學員，但這次開普敦教會，竟然全員都上好、上滿，月底課程結束時，元國說盼望能休息四週時間(因為週四晚、週日晚仍有綫上課)，但大家都還希望能繼續查經！然而感謝神，已將幾位同工人選放在主的檯前，唯願聖靈靈火繼續焚燒、引領我們，這火要試驗各人的工程怎樣、顯明是建造在耶穌基督的根基上。我們盼望在年底能按立同工，登記註冊教會，同心合意的興旺福音。歌羅西書1：28「我們傳揚他，是用諸般的智慧，勸戒各人，教導各人，要把各人在基督裡完完全全的引到神面前。」

3.神保守事奉

A.我們祈求神讓我們知道如何放下、每月一次前往勒斯騰堡團契的服事，這個月他們竟然有家人從福清來了四位大人、兩位兒童！如何捨得這群羊兒？
B.開普敦HELEN小姐妹自告奮勇事奉司琴，她正在學琴，用單音彈琴，小妮子事奉主的心志，滿滿的信心(帶洋蔥)，讓元國得著激勵！再次看見在歌利亞面前的少年人大衛！看見未曾向巴力屈膝、未曾與巴力親嘴的七千人；
C.吳牧師！這有一位Lu先生被鬼附了，請你來趕鬼事奉！感謝神，賜元國禁食禱告恩典，和慧玲一起潔淨禱告，帶著[十字架]、[祂是主]詩歌、聖靈的寶劍、和眾弟兄姐妹的禱告，獻己為器皿前往爭戰！感謝神，Lu先生是被搶劫和打傷的後遺症，傷勢加上憂鬱，不是鬼附！他決志信主得到平安。

感恩……這個月讀經進度從羅馬書讀好到啟示錄
1.感謝神領我們這月上好、上滿了教會事奉品格課程，全員12人無落掉。
2.感恩神賜福我們開始了學青網路查經班，有5位大孩子參加，以英文查考
創世記，[因信稱義]為主題；請在英國的女兒、女婿協助帶領。
3.感謝神的預備，年底(元旦)營會場地去年YMCA已答應可以租用；並短宣
隊預備舉行一日福音義診的場地，也已經安排好，耶和華以勒的神。
4.感謝神領患肺腺癌末的岳母昏迷後甦醒回來，並且能坐起來了！醫生說：
要注意補充蛋白質營養、和水分；耶和華拉法的神在她身上顯出榮耀作為
5.感謝神帶領元國讀到聖經40遍了，雖然還是會忘記一些，仍大大感恩。
禱告
1.我們禱告能將學青綫上查經發展成為將來學生青年團契。求主帶領並成就
2.開普敦華人基督教會願能註冊NPO；並興起同工起來事奉教會、請代禱。
3.請為九月第一個週六，參加白人教會支持宣教義賣活動代禱，主賜平安。
4.請為教會主日崇拜能找到其他牧師(白人)幫忙講道、還有人能翻譯代禱。
5.求主加添我們夫婦恩典，賜我們智慧、體力，與聖靈同行服事主更加喜樂
6.請繼續為慧玲母親末期肺腺癌醫治代禱、化療藥劑減半，耶和華拉法的神。

**Thanksgiving… From Romans to Revelation: Our Bible Reading Progress This
Month**

**Thanksgiving**
**1.** We thank God for leading us through a full and fruitful month of the church’s **Christian Character and Servant Leadership course**. All 12 participants were able to complete the course without anyone missing out. We are truly grateful to God!
**2.**
We thank God for blessing us as we began an **online Bible study group for our
students and young people**. Five older students have joined us, and we are
studying the Bible in English, beginning with **Genesis**, with
**“Justification by Faith”** as our main theme. We are also thankful that our
daughter and son-in-law in the UK are helping to lead and facilitate the study.
**3.** We thank God for His provision. For our **year-end/New Year’s camp**, the YMCA had already agreed last year to let us rent the venue. In addition, a venue has also been arranged for our short-term mission team to hold a **one-day medical and evangelistic outreach clinic**. Truly, **the LORD is Jehovah Jireh—the LORD who provides.**
**4.** We thank God for leading my mother-in-law, who is in the terminal stage of **lung adenocarcinoma**, to regain consciousness after falling into a coma. She is now even able to sit up! The doctor advised us to pay close attention to her protein nutrition and hydration. We give thanks that **the LORD is Jehovah Rapha, the LORD who heals**, and we pray that His glory and mighty works will continue to be revealed in her.
**5.**
We thank God for leading Yuanguo to read through the Bible **40 times**.
Although he still forgets some things, we are nevertheless deeply grateful to
God for His grace and faithfulness.

**Prayer Requests**
**1.**
Please pray that our online Bible study for students and young people will grow
and develop into a **student and youth fellowship** in the future. May the Lord
lead us and bring His purposes to fulfillment.
**2.**
Please pray that the **Cape Town Chinese Christian Church** will be able to
register as an **NPO (Non-Profit Organisation)**, and that God will raise up
more co-workers who are willing to serve and minister in the church.
**3.**
Please pray for us as we participate in a **missionary fundraising event hosted
by a white church on the first Saturday of September**. May the Lord grant us
peace, wisdom, and a good testimony throughout the event.
**4.**
Please pray that our church will be able to find other pastors, including
**white pastors**, who can help preach during our Sunday worship services, as
well as people who can assist with **translation and interpretation**.
**5.**
Please pray that the Lord will continue to pour out His grace upon us as a husband
and wife, giving us **wisdom, physical strength, and joy**, and enabling us to
walk with the Holy Spirit as we serve the Lord.
**6.**
Please continue to pray for **Hui-Ling’s mother**, who is in the terminal stage
of lung adenocarcinoma. Her chemotherapy medication has been reduced by half.
Please continue to pray for healing and strength, trusting in **Jehovah Rapha,
the LORD who heals.**
